“As a regular visiting pilot, I cannot speak highly enough of Leeds East Airport. From the moment I call ahead to arrange my arrival to the disembarkation of my passengers, this is a facility dedicated to providing exceptional service and a seamless experience for both pilots and their aircraft.

The handling team are professional, efficient and welcoming. Upon landing I am always met promptly by the smiling ground staff with a vehicle in which to be transferred to the pilots lounge. Refueling is always carried out swiftly with very competitively priced fuel and the aircraft handled with care whether parking outside or hangared overnight. The team are also happy to assist with any additional requirements including local recommendations for accommodation and transport.

The facilities are equally impressive. The pilots lounge, is arguably one of the best in the UK is modern and equipped with everything as a pilot I could need, WIFI and the ability to print documents should they be required, comfortable seating and refreshments, there is additionally a good cafe on site.

What truly sets Leeds East Airport apart however, is the atmosphere. The staff clearly take pride in their work and go above and beyond to make visitors feel welcome. Their enthusiasm and friendliness creates a wonderful sense of community. It’s rare to find an airport that combines professionalism with such a personal touch, and it makes each visit memorable for all the right reasons.

For any pilot be they private or professional, I wholeheartedly recommend it. Whether you’re on a cross country flight, a business trip or just stopping for a bite to eat the experience here is top notch.”
